The hotel restaurant, The Palms Restaurant and Bar is open daily for breakfast - lunch and dinner and we can vouch for the quality of the food that was served when we were there. reservations advised.
Verdict: I stayed at Surf Side, with my family, a little more than three years ago so I know what I'm talking about. The four days we were there we were treated so well that the hotel is always forefront in my memory when I think of my next trip to the island. The rooms were impressive, the views spectacular, and the beach, though very small and located at the bottom of long flight of stone steps, is gorgious. Everything is within easy reach: all the great beaches on the South Shore are just a short bus ride away via bus route 7, as is the ciity of Hamilton.
