Coco Reef Bermuda

Coco Reef Hotel Bermuda (formerly Stonington Beach Hotel) is really more a resort than simply a hotel. Recently renovated, this small resort is perhaps one of Bermuda’s best kept secrets. Coco Reef Bermuda is a beachfront property located on the Island’s popular South Shore, famous for its long stretches of beautiful pink sand and emerald waters. The hotel overlooks the South Shore in Paget Parish and is only steps away from the world famous Elbow Beach. It has 64 comfortable rooms with half of them oceanfront and the rest ocean view, a private beach, a sunken bar, library, freshwater pool and a sundeck.

Elements of Bermuda’s history are found throughout the property, a fountain here, an exotic statue there, antique furniture accents throughout as well as some period paintings reflecting the days of Spanish colonial rule. Even the elegant, first-rate restaurant Juanito’s is named after Bermuda’s discoverer, Juan de Bermudez. The menu is eclectic and there is a large selection of European and American wines.

All 64 guestrooms have been refurbished, feature wicker furniture, and have been tastefully decorated in the traditional pastel colours of Bermuda. Each guest room features either a balcony or patio, air conditioning, cable TV, direct dial telephones, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, in-room safe, mini-refrigerator, and private bathroom amenities.

Coco Reef boasts a swimming pool, two tennis courses, two restaurants, concierge service, a library, free internet access and business services.

The hotel is conveniently located on the South Road with easy access by bus to the city of Hamilton and the Royal Naval Dockyard. Nearby attractions include the Bermuda Botanical Gardens, Elbow Beach, and the Railway Trail.

Hamilton is just 10 minutes away by bus or taxi. There are
two all-weather tennis courts, a golf course nearby; snorkeling
from the hotel’s beach and other sports can be arranged.
