Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute - BUEI

The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute is your opportunity to discover and experience the mysteries of the ocean, to enter a world beyond the point where the land ends and the deep begins. BUEI takes you into that world through a variety of interactive and educational computer models and underwater exhibits: you can see Bermuda's oceans as they really are. Exhibitions include the Jack Lightbourne Shell collection, one of the world's most spectacular display of ocean mollusks. Even more spectacular is the Deep & Bioluminescence exhibit that takes you on a 12,000 foot dive in a simulated submersible. The Treasure Room & Shipwreck Galley are where Teddy Tucker's artifacts, the products of career as an underwater explorer and treasure salver in the waters around Bermuda.  Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute is one of Bermuda’s most interesting and educational attractions, and it’s open to the public: don’t miss it.

The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute is located just outside the City of Hamilton on East Broadway on bus routes 1, 3, 7 & 8. The Institute is open 364 days a year. Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Admission is good all day! Admission Rates: Adults $12.50, Students / Seniors $10.00, Children $6.00, Children under 5 free.
