Owned and operated by the Ashton Family for more than 50 years, Greenbank Guest House truly is a small section of paradise. Situated on the western shore of the Salt Kettle Peninsula opposite the City of Hamilton, the views from the cottages are unmatched. .  The mature, sub-tropical gardens and spacious lawns overlook the waters and scenic islands dotted across the Great Sound. Greenbank is the ideal spot for basking in the sun.

Greenbank Guest House and Cottages features 11 separate accommodations of various types. Some are situated within the main house, which is over 200 years old, and others are in cottages scattered around the landscaped grounds. The main house has a lounge, complete with grand piano and television, for the use of guests.

Most of the cottages and apartments have private baths, fully equipped kitchenettes and porches overlooking the gardens or the Great Sound. As with most accommodations in this type, meals are not included, with the exception of two of the units that do not have kitchens; those are served each morning with continental breakfast right to your door. Greenbank also has a private waterfront dock where guests can take a dip.

One of the special attractions to staying at Greenbank is the Salt Kettle ferry landing. Located only a minute's stroll away from the main house, the ferry will quickly transport you to the City of Hamilton where you can enjoy the restaurants, shops, pubsShould you decide to spend the evening at home, so to speak, you’ll be treated, depending upon the weather, to one of Bermuda's spectacular sunsets.

Greenbank was honored with The Hibiscus Merit Award for 2008 by the Bermuda Department of Tourism.
